This Cookie Policy explains how Verbatik AI uses cookies and similar technologies on verbatik.com and app.verbatik.com, what each category does, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use related technologies such as local storage, pixels, and software development kits (SDKs). We group these into four categories: strictly necessary, functional, analytics, and advertising.
2. Managing your choices
Non-essential cookies load only after you consent. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all, reject non-essential, or customise by category. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer. We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal for residents of US states where it applies, and we implement Google Consent Mode v2 so tags respect your decision.
3. Strictly necessary
These are required for the site and app to work and cannot be switched off. They do not require consent.

We treat DataFast as essential because it is cookieless and privacy-first: it measures aggregate traffic without storing identifiers on your device or profiling you, so it loads without requiring consent. All other analytics tools remain off until you opt in.

6. Advertising
Measure and personalise our marketing and attribute referrals. Off until you consent. For US residents these may qualify as a “sale” or “share”; declining advertising cookies opts you out.

7. Consent records
When you make a choice, we store it in a first-party cookie (“vtk_consent”) along with the date and version of this policy. The cookie is scoped so your decision applies across both verbatik.com and app.verbatik.com. We re-request consent if this policy materially changes.
